Dave and I have had so many fun adventures in Pittsburgh visiting Helena and Kurt (and then later Megan and her family) I thought I would share some pictures from when we went to a beautiful indoor garden, called Phipps Conservatory!
I think Helena said it was one of the biggest indoor gardens in the country. It was huge and we had a great time going through it all, Dave loves plants so he especially enjoyed himself.
I knew I could count on Helena to copy the gargoyle! I barely mentioned how it would be funny and Helena was on it, she has always been up for anything :)
While Helena was busy copying a gargoyle, Kurt was busy turning into one...
There were a bunch of really cool blown glass art all over the conservatory, like this little guy walking in the water.
Along with the blown glass they also had some wood creations, like this one that's coming after Dave...
We had a really great trip, it was much needed and so fun!
