Yesterday was our first day of house hunting! Our Realtor took us around and we saw about eight different properties and we are looking at more today! Dave and I are hoping to be in a house before the year is out (so we can take advantage of the Federal tax credit) So that means doing as much house searching as possible in the shortest amount of time we can! It is a very exciting time in our life and we are having a blast.
Our apartment contract was expiring this September so instead of renewing our lease for another seven months or doing month to month renting which ends up costing significantly more money then normal rent, we decided to move out of our apartment last week. The timing worked our really well, so now we are available for whenever we find our new house!

That’s fantastic news! Having your own house is great. You never have to worry about what your landlord is or isn’t going to do. You always know what your monthly payments are going to be, and you are in control. Congratulations on reaching this milestone in your lives. You both deserve it and more.
