California

One of the really nice things about going to California, is the beach! Utah has a 'lake' but there is no way I am swimming in it... Maybe I will change my mind some day but it just doesn't look appealing, especially growing up next to lake Michigan, Utah lake kind of looks like a muddy puddle :)

We had the opportunity to go to the beach twice, the first time was with Amy and her kids, Christine and her kids, Dave's Mom and Dad and Molly and her family.

The waves were a little strong so the kids had to be very careful and the adults had to keep a very close eye on them!

After the beach all the kids were getting tired. Kelea, unprompted, grabbed a book and called Cosette and Shayla to the couch for a bedtime story. They were really cute!
